Performance Portfolio

Classical Music

I am a Boston-based operatic mezzo-soprano performing operatic and concert repertoire with a variety of companies and ensembles throughout the region. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Classical Vocal Performance from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Music in Opera Performance from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee.

I am an Emerging Artist with Boston Lyric Opera and a member of the Choir of the New Jerusalem at the Church on the Hill in Boston. I have received recognition at the district and regional levels of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions (2018–2021), as well as from the National Society of Arts and Letters.

Alongside opera, I am especially drawn to art song and orchestral repertoire, with a particular interest in the vocal works of Gustav Mahler.

For additional details, please see my operatic résumé.

I Bought This Suitcase in New York — Flight
Jonathan Dove

A newly married woman waits in an airport for her husband, who has abruptly disappeared. Through increasingly frantic storytelling, she begins to realize the truth about the life she has just entered.

Già che morir non posso — Radamisto
George Frideric Handel

After throwing herself into the river to escape capture, Zenobia survives and is rescued. Furious that fate has denied her death, she calls on the furies to punish the tyrant Tiridate who pursues her.

Liebst du um Schönheit — Rückert-Lieder
Gustav Mahler

The poem rejects love based on beauty, youth, or wealth, affirming instead a love that exists purely for love’s own sake.

Ich bin der Welt abhanden gekommen — Rückert-Lieder
Gustav Mahler

The speaker withdraws from the noise of the world and finds peace in solitude, devotion, and inner artistic life.

Seguidilla — Carmen
Georges Bizet

Carmen seduces Don José in order to convince him to let her escape arrest. This performance was featured in the WGBH masterclass series Getting Into Opera, facilitated by Susan Graham.
